2024 was the second year for the Essex Wine Awards and was again hosted at Clayhill vineyard in the Crouch Valley, an area known for growing excellent grapes and making amazing wine. The competition was judged using the International Wines and Spirits Competition and the Decanter World Wine Awards standards and only wines that reach that high standard were awarded medals. Even though this is a regional competition the wines from this region and world class and deserve to be treated so.
